Thank you!

Nacho Average Teachers at JBHS! Pasta, gumbo, fajitas, tacos, cookies, and cakes are just a few of the ways the JBHS PTO, Admins, and the community said thank-you to teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week.
On Monday, our teachers were treated to Pasta and Salad thanks to Admin and staff. Teachers were treated to Gumbo and sweets on Tuesday courtesy of Mrs. Sandifer and PTO. Cheniere spoiled our teachers with a delicious Mexican meal on Wednesday. Teacher Appreciation Week wraps up today with a taco bar from PTO and special gifts from Mrs. Liburd.
Thank you to the many parents and families who participated in treating our faculty and staff! Through the giving of your time, resources, creativity, and gifts, the entire JBHS faculty have been encouraged and empowered by the tremendous outpouring of love! Thank you!

It has been rightly said that “Motivation is what gets you started; Habit is what keeps you going.” Students, when they are motivated, are more excited to learn and participate. One way to motivate students is to give them rewards and recognition for their learning and participation. With this belief, we recognize one STAR student each month in elementary, middle school, and high school. We select a student as a STAR student on the following parameters.
1. Discipline
2. Participation (school & co-curricular activities)
3. Empathy (being helpful)
4. Leadership (responsible, Initiative & motivator)
5. Social Skills (friendly nature & mannerisms)
