Gearing Up for Summer Learning

The Cameron Parish Summer School Program will begin on Monday, June 3rd and end on Tuesday, June 18th (includes Fridays). The program will include 12 days of intensive remediation. The program's hours will be from 8:00 – 12:00 daily. As soon as data is available, parents and/or guardians of students that will be required to attend will be notified.

JBHS Student Transportation Procedures and Routines

Car rider lines start on the northwest corner of the building and cars must enter at the first entrance after 7:15 AM.

JBHS CAR RIDERS
DROP OFF and PICK UP PROCEDURES

1) Students being dropped off
shall remain in appropriate
passenger restraint until the
vehicle comes to a complete
stop.
2) Students being picked up shall
WAIT in the safe zone near the
stairwell inside of the yellow
lines.
3) Students shall WAIT until a
vehicle comes to a complete
stop.
4) Students in grades PreK-5 th
shall be accompanied by a
school employee while
walking to and from a pick- up
area.
 
Drop off begins at 7:15 AM and after 7:30 AM students must be accompanied by a parent and signed in
at the front office.

Buses will drop off in the front of the school and lanes should remain clear for buses only.

JBHS BUS RIDERS
DROP OFF and PICK UP PROCEDURE

1) Students must remain seated
until the bus comes to a
complete stop.

2) Students must exit the bus in
an orderly manner and walk
directly upstairs.

3) Students shall wait behind the
yellow lines and only walk up
to the bus when the driver has
made a complete stop and
opened the door for entry.
